Türkiye DASK Cost per m², Maximum Cover and Minimum Premium

This page shows every period of Türkiye’s compulsory earthquake insurance (DASK) tariff since January 2020: the cost per m² by building class, the maximum cover per home, and the rate and minimum premium of the highest and lowest risk groups. The amounts in force are at the top; every month is in the table.

How to read the table

• Cost per m²: The insured sum is the home’s gross area times the cost per m² of its building class. Reinforced concrete means a steel or reinforced concrete frame; other means every other building (Tariff art. 2/10, 4).
• Maximum cover: The highest insured sum a home can have; when area × cost per m² is higher, the insured sum is the maximum cover (art. 3).
• Tariff rate: The per mille rate the insured sum is multiplied by to get the premium. The table shows the reinforced concrete rates of group 1 (highest risk) and group 7 (lowest risk); the other groups lie between.
• Minimum premium: The lowest premium of a risk group (art. 2/1). DASK publishes the monthly minimum premium only for the current month; the months between follow the rise of the cost per m² and match the published months.

Why do the amounts change every month?

Since January 2024 the costs per m², and since March 2025 every fixed amount of the tariff, rise each month by the monthly change of the domestic producer price index published the month before (art. 4, 8/A). The tariff rates and the base minimum premiums change by communiqués in the Official Gazette; the last change took effect on 1 January 2026. A premium uses the row of the month the policy starts.
