About Us

Hesaplayıcı is a site of free calculators for everyday sums such as interest, inflation and percentages. Every calculator shows not only a number but also the formula and each step behind it. The Turkish and English pages use the same calculation code, and the same calculators are available to developers as an API.

How we build the calculators

• Each calculation is defined in one place. The web page and the API run the same code, so the same inputs give the same result everywhere.
• Every calculator is tested automatically against example results checked by hand.
• Rules such as rounding, period counting and compounding are written on each calculator’s page under “Calculation rules”.
• When a calculator uses legal rates or official data, its page names the source and the date the data is valid from.

Sources and editing

Guides and glossary entries cite encyclopedic sources and official bodies such as TÜİK and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. Each page lists its sources at the end and shows its author and last update at the top. We review the content regularly and update what changes.
