Math and Unit Converter Tools Added

Hesaplayıcı has seven new tools: proportion, square root, fraction simplifier and percentage change calculators, and length, weight and temperature converters. The math tools show every result with its formula and steps. The unit converters use the exact factors of the international definitions and give the value in every unit at once.

What changed

• Proportion: x in a : b = c : x, for a direct or an inverse proportion, with the constant of proportionality.
• Square root: the square root of a number and, for whole numbers, the simplified radical a√b.
• Fraction simplifier: the fraction in lowest terms, the GCD, the decimal value and the mixed number.
• Percentage change: the percentage change from an old to a new value, the difference and the ratio.
• Length converter: millimeters, centimeters, meters, kilometers, inches, feet, yards, miles and nautical miles.
• Weight converter: milligrams, grams, kilograms, metric tons, ounces, pounds and stones.
• Temperature converter: Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin; values below absolute zero are rejected.

The definitions

The unit converters use the exact values of the 1959 international yard and pound agreement (1 inch = 2.54 cm, 1 pound = 0.45359237 kg), the 1,852-meter nautical mile and the SI definition T(K) = t(°C) + 273.15. Every tool page shows its formula and its sources.
