Türkiye's 2026 SGK Ceiling: 9 Times the Minimum Wage

From 2026, Türkiye’s social security earnings ceiling is 9 times the gross minimum wage instead of 7.5 times. After the change made by Law 7566, the 2026 ceiling is 297,270 TRY a month and 9,909 TRY a day. For salaries above it, social security and unemployment premiums are taken on the ceiling; the gross-to-net calculator uses the new ceiling.

What changed

• 2025: the ceiling was 7.5 times the gross minimum wage, 195,041.40 TRY a month.
• 2026: the ceiling is 9 times the gross minimum wage, 297,270 TRY a month.
• Article 24 of Law 7566 changed “7.5” to “9” in article 82 of Law 5510.
