Home or workplacePlot, land and other
This page shows every period of Türkiye’s title deed fee on a property sale since 2005: the rate charged to the buyer and to the seller each, the reduced-rate periods for homes and workplaces, and the minimum fee each party pays. The period in force is at the top; every period is in the table, the rates in the chart.
How to read the table
- Rate (per mille): The fee is charged at this rate of the declared value to the buyer and to the seller separately (tariff 4, item 20/a). It is 20 per mille since 22 Sep 2012. From 29 Mar to 30 Jun 2009 every sale paid 5 per mille; from 15 Mar to 30 Sep 2017 and from 5 May 2018 to 31 Dec 2019 homes and workplaces paid 15 per mille.
- Minimum fee: When the calculated fee is below this amount, each party pays this amount. It rises each year by the revaluation rate; in 2023 it rose once more in July.
- Base: The declared value cannot be below the property tax value, and fractions of the base under 10 TRY are dropped (Fees Law art. 63).
Older amounts
The 2005–2008 amounts are in new Turkish lira; 1 YTL = 1 TRY, so the numbers equal today’s lira.
