KKDF (Kaynak Kullanımını Destekleme Fonu, the Resource Utilization Support Fund) is a levy that Turkish banks charge on loan interest and pass to a state fund. On consumer loans it is 15% of the interest (Council of Ministers Decision 2010/974). Housing loans usually carry none. Because it is added to the interest, it raises the monthly installment.
Where it appears in the formulas
Banks work out the installment with the monthly rate plus KKDF and BSMV: i = r × (1 + KKDF + BSMV). Each month, KKDF = month's interest × KKDF rate. The loan and early repayment calculators show KKDF in its own column of the payment plan.
