The severance pay ceiling is the most severance pay a worker in Türkiye can receive per year of service. Law 1475 art. 14 ties it to the highest retirement bonus of a top civil servant. It changes in January and July: 64,948.77 TRY in the first half of 2026, 73,729.87 TRY from 1 July 2026.

The severance pay calculator limits the monthly wage to the ceiling: wage used = min(gross wage + benefits; ceiling). The end date decides which ceiling applies: 64,948.77 TRY for a worker who leaves on 30 June 2026, 73,729.87 TRY for one who leaves on 1 July 2026. The ceiling is a gross amount; stamp duty comes off afterwards.
