Turkish DASK 2026 Premium: 879–3,981 TL Per 100 m²
Region: TürkiyeHesaplayıcı
Türkiye’s compulsory earthquake insurance (DASK) uses the October 2026 tariff: 12,039 TL per m² for reinforced concrete, maximum cover 2,552,268 TL. A 100 m² flat pays 3,395 TL a year in risk group 1, 879 TL in group 7. The 2027 tariff is not published; the m² price rises monthly with producer inflation, reaching 12,288 TL in November 2026.
How much is DASK in 2026?
Under the October 2026 tariff the m² value is 12,039 TL for reinforced-concrete buildings and 8,026 TL for other construction types. The insured sum is the gross floor area multiplied by that value, capped at 2,552,268 TL per home.
The premium is the insured sum multiplied by a per-thousand rate that depends on the risk group and the construction type. For a 100 m² reinforced-concrete flat the insured sum is 1,203,900 TL; the premium is 3,395 TL in group 1, 2,408 TL in group 4 and 879 TL in group 7.
If the calculation falls below the minimum premium, the floor applies: 2,376 TL in group 1 and 615 TL in group 7. For reinforced concrete the cap is reached at 212 m², so larger flats do not increase the insured sum.
| Home | Insured sum | Rate per thousand | Annual premium |

What will DASK cost in 2027?
The 2027 tariff has not been published. DASK does not announce next year’s premium in advance; it publishes a new m² value every month. Article 8/A of the Compulsory Earthquake Insurance Tariff and Instruction requires the fixed amounts to be raised by the monthly change in the domestic producer price index. If the index is negative the increase counts as zero, and fractions are rounded up to the whole lira. The communiqué also lets the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency reset the m² values to suit market conditions.
So a 2027 premium will depend on the month the policy starts. The tariff already lists 12,288 TL per m² for reinforced concrete from 1 November 2026, with a maximum cover of 2,605,100 TL — 2.07% (249 TL) more than October. You can compare the monthly values on the DASK tariff by year page.
If the m² value rises while a policy is in force, the insured sum goes up by the same ratio without an extra premium. A home renewing in 2027 is therefore priced on the tariff in force on the renewal date.

Which homes pay a lower premium?
The biggest discount is for renewing: a home renewed within 30 days of the old policy expiring pays 20% less than the tariff price. Reinforced-concrete buildings with three or fewer floors above ground get 10% off; buildings of eight floors or more pay a 10% surcharge.
Reinforced-concrete buildings with a construction permit from before 2000 pay 10% more. Discounts and surcharges are added together, so in a three-storey older building the low-rise discount and the permit surcharge cancel out. Other construction types get no discount or surcharge apart from the renewal discount.
A 150 m² reinforced-concrete flat in risk group 2 has an insured sum of 1,805,850 TL and, with the renewal discount, an annual premium of 3,626 TL. You can find your risk group by choosing your neighbourhood on DASK’s interactive earthquake map; it is also printed on the policy.
What does the 2% deductible mean in a claim?
Every claim has 2% of the insured sum deducted, and DASK pays the part above that amount. On a 100 m² reinforced-concrete flat with an insured sum of 1,203,900 TL the deductible is 24,078 TL. A home of the same size in the “other” construction class has an insured sum of 802,600 TL and a deductible of 16,052 TL.
Compulsory earthquake insurance covers the building only. Contents, loss of rent and optional earthquake cover are outside this calculation. Every 72-hour period counts as a single loss.
