The Türkiye overtime pay calculator finds the hourly wage from your monthly gross wage and the gross pay for your overtime hours. Enter the monthly gross wage, the overtime hours and the type of work. Overtime is paid 50% above the hourly wage and extra hours 25% above it. The result is gross, before tax and premiums.

225 is 30 days times 7.5 hours a day; settled practice finds the hourly wage of a monthly-paid worker this way. 150% is the rate for overtime and 125% the rate for extra hours (Labour Law art. 41). Hours are the overtime hours to be paid. The result is rounded to the kuruş.

The worked example on this page shows 10 overtime hours for an employee with a monthly gross wage of 45,000 TRY. The steps give the hourly wage, the overtime hourly rate at 150% and the total gross overtime pay.
Limits
The result is gross; social security premiums, income tax and stamp duty are not deducted. Use the gross to net salary calculator for the net. Work on national and public holidays (art. 47) is paid by the day, so it is not in the calculator. Work on the weekly rest day and overtime taken as time off are not included. The calculator does not check weekly hours or the yearly limit of 270 hours for you.
